Read Santa Clara

Our library is not only a place where patrons come to "read to learn" but also to "learn to read." Read Santa Clara is the library's adult and family literacy program serving English speaking adults who wish to improve their basic reading, writing and math skills. The literacy program's trained volunteer tutors provide over 3000 hours of free literacy instruction to 100 adult learners each year helping them achieve goals as diverse as helping their children with schoolwork, filling out job applications, reading health information or writing letters.
