The print edition of the Book Review is available to check out from the Periodicals Pavilion on the 2nd floor of the library.Little Heathens, reviewed in July (click on the link to read the review), is written by a local author, Millie Armstrong. It tells the story of her hard luck but joyful childhood in 1930's rural Iowa. There are lots of recipes and remedies. I especially like the Applesauce Cake recipe. She will be at the library April 16, 2008, to talk about her book.
