The Big Read's keynote address will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from 6:00 - 7:45 p.m. in the Redwood Room of Central Park Library. Dr. Daniel Dyer, Jack London scholar and author, will give a lecture and slide show presentation on the path traveled by the dog Buck and London's links to the places in the novel.On Wednesday, March 23, 2011, from 6:00 - 7:45 p.m. at Mission Library Family Reading Center, Dyer will discuss London's youth, his ties to the Bay Area, his time in Alaska and his career.
