Having a library card gives you access to LOTS of free information and resources here at the Santa Clara City Library. Here are just some examples:

- Access to resources at both the Central and Mission branches
- Online account and renewals with free email notification of due dates
- Free DVDs for adults and kids
- Free music CDs for adults and kids
- Free Playaways -- these are audiobooks on mini-devices, sort of like a one-book .mp3 player.

- New Books and other materials
- Access to lots of free databases, including newspapers
- Learn a new language
- Get help with homework from a real person
