City Librarian Karen Saunders retired this week after 34 years of dedicated service to the Santa Clara City Library. Her leadership and vision will be greatly missed. She was honored by library staff, city officials, and community members at a reception on August 19. At the reception Karen (center) received a proclamation from Mayor Patricia Mahan (left) and City Manager Jennifer Sparacino (right.)
